Ferruginous Pygmy Owl Sanctuary

Design Statement:

Create an avian sanctuary to meet the needs of a specific bird, as well as the human user.

Research

Ferruginous Pygmy-owls are cavity nesters, using abandoned woodpecker holes, natural tree cavities, and nest boxes. Their preferred habitats are semi-open woodlands, savannas, thorn scrub, and deserts.
