Proof of Concept Model
My proof of concept was loosely assembled with disconnected parts, to prove the light worked. It revealed that I needed to adjust the transparency of the diffuser, and integrate it with the base.

Direction 2: Ornate
After testing the high fidelity model, I printed a stronger push bar, and was ready to prime and paint.
Diffuser locked in place after assembly with slight vertical movement space.
Batteries are covered by a plate held by a screw on the underside.
Final CAD
With the high fidelity CAD I designed the latching mechanisms and electronic mounts.
